Roofing Manufacturer’s Warranty Options & Availability
Confirm eligibility from the roofing systems specifications and your installation staff team before submitting a warranty claim.
Material Warranty Requirements:
- Material warranties do not apply to leaks or roofing failure due to improper application of material.
- No labor is included in these warranties.
- The application form must be filled out entirely.
- The application form must be signed and submitted to the Conklin Company WarrantyDepartment within 30 days of job completion.
- Applicant must be current on Conklin Roofing Systems Training program requirements.
- Applicants who have only completed the one-day Metal Roofing System Training program areonly eligible for a MR System® Material Warranty.
- Applicant must purchase all material for the roof being warranted.
- Applicant must provide order numbers to verify all material that was used.
- Spray Polyurethane Foam Roofing Systems are to be installed per SPFA (Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance) specifications and NRCA (National Roofing Contractors Alliance)recommendations.
- Conklin Material Warranties will only be approved for projects where BASF spray foampurchased from Conklin Roofing Systems has been used.
- For proper roof identification, all Conklin Material Warranties require a minimum of one coresample for final approval.
- All core samples can be photographed and replaced after photographing.
- A minimum of five clear-color, before-and-after pictures MUST be submitted with the warrantyapplication or it will not be processed.
- All separate and/or unconnected roofs require a separate warranty application.
- Only the latest updated material warranty application form available online in the Roofing Systems Documents Library will be accepted.
Failure to provide required information and pictures will result in immediate denial!
Conklin Material Warranties will only be approved for projects where BASF spray foam purchased from Conklin Roofing Systems has been used.
Total Manufacturer’s Warranty Requirements:
- All Total Manufacturer’s Warranties require a telephone interview between Conklin Warranty
- Department staff and the contractor applying for the warranty to determine basic eligibility priorto an on-site pre-inspection visit being scheduled.
- Clear pictures and core samples, if applicable, are required prior to a basic warranty eligibilitytelephone interview.
- All Total Manufacturer’s Warranties require an on-site pre-inspection by Conklin WarrantyDepartment staff before any work can begin on the roof system.
- After the initial interview is completed and approved, a pre-inspection fee of $1,500 is requiredprior to the pre-inspection being scheduled.
- Refer to the latest version of the Total Manufacturer’s Warranty Matrix for pricing and fees orcontact the Conklin Warranty Department.
- Applicant must be current on Conklin Roofing Systems Training program requirements.
- Applicants must be able to document having previously installed at least 5,000 square feet ofthe same roofing system being applied for in the application.
- Order numbers and/or pictures are required to verify prior experience with the same roofingsystem included in the warranty application.
- Applicants who have only completed the one-day Metal Roofing System Training program areonly eligible for a MR System® Material Warranty.
- Applicant must purchase all material for the roof being warranted.
- Applicant must provide order numbers to verify all material that was used.
